You rarely every see me wear Maxi dresses on this blog. I am not a fan of Maxi dresses because if it is going to be a maxi, I want it to drag the floor. But, at 5’8.5″, it is almost impossible for me to accomplish this. I have had luck at both Gap and Old Navy, but that is because they carry tall and long sizes (which usually are too long, but that happens when you are on the “short” side of tall), But I fell in love with this dress when I saw it on the Eloquiiwebsite. I have another dress that I bought from Eloquiilast year, and the material was a thick, seasonless jersey that I love. So, I thought, why not? Plus, I thought that this dress can take me through all four seasons we experience here in DC. Yet another score for me as I attempt to be more like my friend, Teriyana, whose wardrobe is seasonless and so weather appropriate at the same time. I paired this sleeveless dress with this great blazer that has been hiding in the back of my closet for months (never worn) and I felt light and airy AND autumn-ready simultaneously. Autumn, I await you…
