It is finally in the low-70s in DC! I can now begin to transition out of my tired summer wardrobe to what I always hope will be an exciting fall wardrobe. I shopped Asos a lot this summer (a lot), and I swear I bought a lot of items on sale. But when it comes time to put an outfit together, inspiration usually eludes me. But this shirt/tunic was a bit different. In my favorite color combo, black & white, I know that this tunic from Asos (for $22) will get a LOT of wear this fall/winter. But I wanted to do a little something different, so I made myself wear these color-blocked pants I picked up this summer. I initially thought this may be too many attempts at color-blocking at any given time, but I liked the outfit overall. I probably would never wear these pants again (I swear Asos has the most ill-fitting pants) because of terrible fit issues like loose knees and legs, a too-high rise, baggy fit, and tight calves, but for a Friday at work, this was just fine.
What fall items have you worn as the temperature continues to drop?
