I wore this dress last Saturday. Actually, I’ve worn this dress several times in the last two weeks. Obsessed much? I wanted this dress when I saw it a couple of months ago on the ASOS website, but I refused to purchase it for almost $75.00. Granted, it is cute. And granted it is a gorgeous color. But it is not the most practical piece of clothing. Or so I thought. I have worn this to work with Black slacks, and earlier on this day, I wore it with a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans, and a long black vest. When I was told that it was “date night” after I had been working all day selling clothes at an event, the last thing I wanted to do was think about what to wear. As I stated before, I had this dress on anyway, so I swapped out the jeans and vest, added a trusty pair of black tights and my over-the-knee boots (which, by the way, make any inappropriate length skirt or dress somehow acceptable), and voila! To take the grown lady style quotient up a bit, and keep this bald noggin warm, I topped this ensemble with this hat from ASOS, that I have had about 2 years, and honestly forgot about.
When I descended the stairs, The Spouse was taken aback. Mission accomplished…
